January 6, 2015
Washington, DC

Gleb Latnik, Andrey Nasonov and Viachaslau Bortnik, human rights activists, picketed the Russian Embassy in Washington, DC demanding freedom for all political prisoners in Russia.

Gleb Latnik, Spectrum Human Rights activist, initiated a tradition to picket the Russian Embassy on the 6th day of each month in response to the Putin’s government brutal suppression of the peaceful civil protests on May 6, 2012 in Moscow that resulted in several people being imprisoned for their political views.

Unusually cold weather and snow did not stop the protest action.

The activists were interviewed by the Voice of America and other media outlets.
